The Santa Cruz Half Marathon takes runners along California’s most breathtaking coastline. Starting near the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, the course goes south through seaside neighborhoods and into Capitola Village before turning back toward Santa Cruz for a beachside finish.
It’s a route that captures everything Santa Cruz stands for!

Fast, scenic, and surf-soaked: the Santa Cruz Half starts near the Wharf/Boardwalk, runs the coastline past the harbor and East Cliff ocean views, taps into the stoke at Pleasure Point, then loops through Capitola before flying back to a beach finish at Cowell’s. A half marathon that feels like a victory lap along the Pacific.

All registration fees are non-refundable. This race, in accordance with management executives, city officials, and local law enforcement, has the authority to cancel any of the events for emergency purposes such as, but not limited to, inclement weather, a pandemic, or threat of terrorism. If such emergency conditions force cancellation, refunds cannot be provided.
When you completed your registration and purchased your entry, you should have received a confirmation email from ‘Let’s Do This’ containing all the details of your event booking, including your booking reference.
If you have a booking ID, please try to enter your details in this link to access your entry. Check that your email address is correctly typed and with no errors.

All participants are required to pick up their race packet at the Race Expo prior to race day. Participants must bring their ID and their QR Code confirmation email to expedite the pick-up process. Confirmation emails will be emailed to participants the week of the race before the Expo opens.

Race day packet pick-up on Sunday, Race Day is available for a fee. Participants can purchase this option by following this:

If you are unable to attend the Race Expo, you may send a proxy to pick up your race packet on your behalf.
Please send your proxy with a copy of your driver's license (a digital picture is OK) and your QR code confirmation email to expedite the pick up process. Confirmation emails are sent the week of the race. Proxies may only pick up packets for up to 3 people.
